Every year around my birthday, I love celebrating in one of the ways that feels most me — by creating together with all of you! This year, I’m continuing that tradition with Creative Canvas, a FREE online class on 19th September, just one day before my birthday.

In this class, we’ll create a colourful, dimensional card inspired by an artist’s creative space. At the heart of the project is a miniature canvas that we’ll transform into our own little work of art, exploring colour, texture and layering along the way.

We’ll then build the scene around our canvas, bringing together the easel, art supplies and dimensional details while looking at composition and how all those little elements can work together without overwhelming the focal point.

This class is about more than recreating one card. It’s an invitation to play, experiment and put your own creative personality onto the canvas.

My annual birthday class has become such a special tradition for me, and I can’t think of a better way to begin my birthday celebrations than spending some creative time with this wonderful community.
